When is an ophthalmology consultation needed?

Who’s our veterinary ophthalmologist?
Advanced ophthalmology services are provided in collaboration with Dr. Marina Vorobeva, based at our sister clinic, Noble Vet. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Marina is known for her exceptional skill in diagnosing and treating complex eye conditions. She holds a Master of Science with First Class Honours and a PhD in Veterinary Internal Medicine from the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine in Russia, where her passion for ophthalmology first began.
Currently training with the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ECVO), Dr. Marina brings international expertise through her studies and lectures across Europe and the U.S. Her clinical focus includes cataract management, glaucoma, corneal reconstruction, and eyelid surgeries, with experience spanning multiple species from cats and dogs to horses, rabbits, and even dolphins. Alongside her clinical work, she is a published researcher and dedicated advocate for raising veterinary ophthalmology standards in the UAE and beyond.
