When do we recommend imaging?
Imaging is often recommended when your pet shows signs that may indicate an internal issue, such as:
Limping, stiffness, or joint swelling
Chronic coughing or labored breathing
Vomiting, diarrhea, or unexplained weight loss
Suspected tumors, masses, or internal discomfort
Pre-surgical evaluation or post-trauma assessment
Monitoring chronic conditions like heart disease or arthritis
X-Rays
X-rays provide clear images of bones, joints, and internal structures. They help detect fractures, arthritis, tumors, and chest or abdominal abnormalities quickly and safely.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound evaluates soft tissues, organs, and heart function in real time. It’s non-invasive, painless, and ideal for diagnosing liver, kidney, heart, and abdominal issues.
CT Scans
CT scans deliver high-resolution 3D images for complex conditions. They are handy for detecting tumors, internal injuries, neurological issues, and bone or organ assessment.
Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows direct visualization of the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts, among other hollow organs.

1. Preparation & Sedation
Our team will explain the process and determine if mild sedation is needed to keep your pet calm and still.

2. Quick Imaging
Your pet is carefully positioned for the scan. Most procedures take only a few minutes, with some as fast as 60 seconds.

3. Results & Follow-Up
After reviewing the images, our vets will discuss the findings with you and recommend next steps, including treatment or further monitoring.
